I'm so behind with everything it's unreal, the holidays where a lot busier for me than I was expecting so I didn't get a chance to get online to check things. Sorry for the slow replys and such everyone! I have high hopes for this year, I'm knucking down and trying to spend a few hours drawing every day, hopefully we'll start seeing some improvement! Still struggling through a huge art block, seriously I think I'm going to try banging my head against something hard if I can't get over it soon. I'm drawing all the time but everything looks poo to me. I dunno', maybe it's me...

Pft, anyway on a much brighter note I've been seeing people offering secret santa type things and I thought to myself 'Ya know, that's not a bad idea. I might have a little go at that myself.' So here's the deal;
I'm offering everyone who replys to this journal till the 20th of Dec a free sprite of your character/avatar/whatever as long as it's humanoid and you have a refrence picture. Since my art blocks still going I can't offer anything more creative but everyone loves sprites and they're super easy and fun to do. I can't do anything too complex because of the size but I'll give most things a go.

I can't draw at the moment, I just seem to have this annoying art block where I know what I want to do but it just wont come out right. Aaaagh! Need to get a new sketchbook since I've filled my old one up with scribbled out attempts. Hopefully it wont last much longer and I can upload something better than just a silly photo of myself.

Today's Headlines;

Back in merry old (not to mention cold, wet and grey) England! I had a wonderful time in Turkey, I stayed on my partner's dad's boat for two weeks. We started off on Göcek, sailed around a few absolutely stunning bays before visiting Fethiye for a bit then doing some more hardcore sailing and spending the last week in Marmaris and the infamous Bar Street. Got to see loads of beautiful sights, some stunning wildlife and some fascinating people as well as getting offered a job in a tattoo parlour (I would have stayed if I could, it was a damn good one!), getting absolutely smashed on drink's with sparklers in them, checking out the local music scene and having a dance, getting myself an awesome belly dancer's costume and some little gifts for the family, learning how to haggle and to top it all off getting an awesome tan for the first time in years.

When I got back I was greeted with some amazing news! Karma finally caught up with my father, it's a long and rather depressing story so I wont go into it too much but basically it now means that my mum has a lot of money that's been owed to her for a long time which makes her happy which of course makes me happy. She's going to get me a laptop and a puppy when Dave and myself find our new place. I can't wait! Everything's looking up, even my drawing's gotten more confident. I think I'm almost ready to have another go getting my apprenticeship with my new stuff and the new studio opening in my town looks promising...

Finger's crossed for an update soon! Nothing special, just better quality images of my newer stuff. When I get my laptop I'm gunna' take it to a friend's house and hope she doesn't mind me stealing her scanner for a while. (Talking about you there if you're reading this Lindz ;D )
